The components of smoke snuff

Nicotine is the most popular snuff smoke component, among other reasons because it is the most addictive of them all. It acts on a neurotransmitter that regulates the secretion of over 200 neurochemicals charged with the various body functions. In addition, nicotine in the brain produces dopamine release, which provides a feeling of satisfaction and reward, and active norepinephrine, responsible for calming the feelings of anxiety and irritability.

But besides nicotine, snuff smoke inhaled with each breath contains at least 4,865 substances, which include many toxins and carcinogens:

Carcinogens
Tar is a component of the asphalt making roads and acts damaging the cell nucleus, which favors the onset of tumor pathologies. One of its components, creosote, is especially carcinogen.
Vinyl chloride: Present in all plastic elements used in construction (windows, pipes, etc.)
Polonium 210: It is a very toxic and even radioactive substance.
Benzopyrene: is a hydrocarbon containing some foods, such as meat and fish.
Benzene: A natural component of crude oil. dyes, detergents and pesticides are used in the manufacture of plastics, resins.
Formaldehyde: used to preserve corpses and tissues.
Urethane: Located in some vehicle components, such as dashboards and one in the manufacture of packaging.

Poisonous gases
Carbon monoxide: We produce exhaust pipes of vehicles or butane stoves and boilers.
Hydrochloric acid: It is highly toxic to the point of use in the manufacture of chemical weapons.
Butane: They are commonly consumed in many Spanish households (estugas, kitchens, etc.)
Methanol: It is produced in landfills by degradation of organic matter accumulated.
Ammonia: A part used in household cleaning, it is a component of some pesticides.
Solvents: These toluene and acetone. Its vapors are toxic, especially if they aspire for a long time.
Hydrogen sulfide: Located in crude oil and natural gas and is highly toxic.
Toxic metals
Cadmium and Nickel: Used in the manufacture of batteries.
Chromium and lead: Consider that lead pipes have been removed in construction because of its high toxicity.
Arsenic: Poison present in rat poison.
Oxidants

Notable toxic oxygen radicals, nitrogen monoxide and sulfur oxide. The last two play a very important role in the occurrence of lung disease, and causing oxidation and inflammation of the walls of bronchi and alveoli, causing chronic bronchitis and emphysema.

Are just a few of the 4,685 different inhalants with snuff smoke and that are highly toxic, both to the tissues of the respiratory and circulatory system to the cells of the entire human body.
